Close to Venice, Santa Monica, West LA, Brentwood and other prime Westside hot spots, Mar Vista/Palms remains remarkably affordable. Many believe that this is because there is no local “identity” for Mar Vista/Palms. This just means there is no local meeting place or shopping center. Neighborhoods abound, though and shopping is a short drive away. Tree lined streets and sidewalks impart that “neighborhood” feel.
