Do Tennis Players Make Better Realtors?

January 23, 2010 by philipperodrigue

club medI’m originally from Canada and I remember after graduating from my MBA in Montreal, packing up my car and driving across the country not knowing exactly what was waiting for me. After all those years, I can finally say that I have found a home. Before I started my Real Estate career, I was a ranked professional tennis player and taught all over the world.

Here I am now living in Los Angeles. I am so proud to be part of this unique full service residential Real Estate Company.

At Partners Trust we believe that a successful partnership with our clients begins with and thrives on knowledge, professionalism and integrity. Selling Real Estate involves educating clients more than actually “selling”. Our clients decide what is right for them; we only offer guidance, perspective and options.

In this short video clip from 2001 filmed in the Bahamas, you can see how my teaching style on the tennis court has really helped my Real Estate career.

What do you think?

This is great. Your nurturing, supportive approach to teaching is obvious.

Haha. But seriously, a sense of humor may be the most important aspect of life.
